Anilam 3200 and 3300 CNC Controls

The 3000 series Anilam controls are the ultimate in user friendly, and intuitive controls. Many customers are able to navigate the controls and make parts without any formal training.

The program language is shop floor English. Not a word of G-coding is used (unless you want to import a G code program from another machine or cam system).

The highly graphical and conversational interface is what make this happen and the generated program looks like this.

Feature overview

Illustrating a 2 axis system on a knee mill. This is a feild mounted retrofit kit built entirely by Anilam. Most of the knee mills built by HH Roberts have our own motor mounts and cabinets and look much cleaner than the above.

The 3200MK is a 2-axis plus spindle Kit-style control, particularly suited for knee mill and bed mill applications where the operator wants to control the Z-axis manually. The Z-axis can be displayed as a readout axis by adding a 3rd axis linear encoder.

The programming format is conversational with ANILAM's highly appreciated machinist's language. Several canned cycles and ANILAM's easy-to-use icon based 3-mode calculator further simplify the programming. The canned cycles include various pockets, hole patterns and profiles. The program is easily verified with the on-screen graphics, for simulation or while cutting.

An additional 4th readout axis and a remote handwheel can be connected to the control. 3200MK has one I/O-module standard and one additional I/O-module as an option. Each I/O-module has 10 inputs and 6 outputs controlled via CAN-bus. M-functions are also available.

ANILAM's 3200MK can be upgraded to a 3-axis control, on-site.

ANILAM controls have extensive compensation features for automatic correction of machine errors and various offsets.

All ANILAM 3000-, 4000- and 5000-series controls use the PC-DSP Dual Processor hardware platform. They have large color screens with draw graphics. The 4000- and 5000-series have full alphanumeric keypads. Hard disk and floppy disk drives provide data storage and input. The controls have been tested and fully qualified in accordance with EMC regulations. Networking capability and offline software are available as options are options at the Anilam factory but all Anilam controls supplied by HH Roberts have networking as standard.
