Feature overview

Anilam Commando CNC retrofitted to a horizontal boring mill The 1100 Commando (1100C) is a PC-based control specifically designed for boring mill applications. 1100C is a point-to-point positioning control that can be installed either as a 3-axis control or 2-axis plus 3rd axis readout. This control successfully interfaces to the existing relay logic of older boring mills making an upgrade extremely cost-effective compared to a full CNC rebuild. The final result is a vastly improved throughput of the upgraded machine.

ANILAM's 1100C has been evolving since its introduction in 1977. Since then, the 1100C has been retrofitted onto more than 50 different brands of boring mills. The chances are, your interface is already in our expansive library.

The 1100C is configured as a kit with bolt-on ready console, cabinet and other kit components. The console incorporates a large 14" monochrome CRT and a keypad. A network of skilled technicians are available for installations.

The programming format is conversational with ANILAM's highly appreciated machinist's language. A set of canned cycles specifically designed for boring and ANILAM's easy-to-use icon based 3-mode calculator further simplify programming. The canned cycles include various drilling cycles, hole patterns, pockets and face-milling. The program is easily verified with the on-screen graphics, for simulation or while cutting.
