Shun Chuan CL series:
17" Swing

This is the Shun Chuan CL-1740 engine lathe

FEATURES
All castings are properly stabilized and stress relieved.
Bed ways are hardened & ground to min. HS-70
Turcite B coating between the bed and carriage.
Extremely low noise level.
Foot brake
Built-in coolant pump & fitting provided. CSS on request for E.V.S model.
Wider bed way which give vibration-absorbent
2" Spindle Bore ( for a 3" bore see the ML Series)
8 speed headstock standard, optionally 16 speeds with a 2 speed motor.

The electronic variable speed drive on the V versions of this series can be fitted with the Anilam 450-L digital readout which when coupled to the spindle drive gives constant surface speed like on a CNC lathe, and the benefits from it of better surface finish, longer tool life and more efficient cutting times. The Anilam readout also holds tool offset lengths so cut positioning can be done to drawing dimensions even when tools are changed.
