FEB /09: We have developed a new variable speed drive for these machines
that can eliminate the need for a 600 V to 220 V transformer, reducing both the
purchase price and the installation wiring costs.

-spindle Cat-V-40 or BT-40
-spindle drive 15 Hp or 22 Hp
-spindle speeds - standard 6,000 rpm
- 600 to 1000 IPM rapid traverse (according to control model and drive selection.).

Shown here with the base mounted console support which is the most comfortable height for use. Also available in overarm mounted configuration.

This model is available with toolchangers and fully enclosed. See our MCO and MCV models. The toolchangers can be field retrofitted

Want handwheels?:
We do not recommend handwheels but if you really think you need them, that arrangement is like that shown to the left. The X axis handwheel is driven through a 90 degree bevel gear set. All handwheels have spring declutching.
We suggest that the MPG (electronic handwheel ) is a better solution than the mechanical one.
